Hoosiers update 2/24

What a week to be a Hoosiers basketball fan! First we have the high of beating our arch rival Purdue, then we have the low of having a coaching change mid-season under a cloud of scandal.

Overall I think the Hoosiers will actually be okay. It's going to take a couple games for this team to get used to not having Kelvin around, I mean for some of these guys he was like a father, meaning to them it's almost like someone has died.

But, this team is hungry. They know that they have a good chance of bringing home a Big Ten title, and going far in the Tourney. To do this, it's going to take leadership from D.J. White, he has to forget what's going on, and finish out his career at Indiana strong.

I also think that Dan Dackich will do a good job. He will preach defense and will help this team keep other teams from scoring as much, so in a way this could help Indiana quite a bit.

The problem with everything though is all the "buts" above.

Hoosiers Update 2/16

Well, it's been a rough week for my Hoosiers. With Kelvin Sampson under the gun the Hoosiers lost to Wisconsin, and as I am writing this, the Hoosiers are handing it to Michigan State.

You know with all that has gone on with Indiana, you can't say anything about the fans of Indiana. They have stood by this team and continued their undying support.

Well I know that with whatever happens with Sampson, you know that these Hoosiers with survive and continue to percivere.

My personal thoughts about Sampson are that we should wait to see the outcome of any investigations before throwing him to the wolves. The report from the NCAA was only a report of ALLEGATIONS. Allegations are just that allegations. They are not proof and they are not yet proved to be true. Well yet.
